The good people at the Red Bull Academy have finally put up the 30-odd minute video conservation between Ready D and Shaheen (Ariefdien), founders of rap crew Prophets of da City in South Africa, that was taped in Cape Town in 2003. These guys are probably one of the continent’s oldest hip hop crews (They also recorded the first Afrikaans hip hop track, “Dala Flet.”)
